South Face Reissend Nollen (3003m), Switzerland

In end of February 2023, Tof Henry (known for putting freeriding speed into the equation of skiing steep mountaineering faces and the well received movie ‘Born in Chamonix‘) found and skied an interesting line in the south face of Reissend Nollen (3003m🇨🇭) together with local athlete Joel Pollinger. The line includes ~400m of vertical change and has a varying slope mostly between 45° and 55° in the upper half, a little section almost plateauing in the middle and a seriously exposed lower half with a gradient ranging from around 50° to almost 65° in the steepest section close to the bottom.
